SUPREME CAT SHOW 21ST NOVEMBER 2009
We arrived at the venue at 8.30am and followed the routine of vetting in and finding our pen. How exciting this being our very first Supreme and for the weeks leading up to the event I carefully chose suitable drapes to compliment my girls lilac point colour and bought accessories to make our pen pretty. I also put together 3 cork notice boards and placed interesting information and pictures of Georgi and her brother and sisters also including her mother (Richdale Rainbowsend) and father (Grand Champion Sulalaya Lord Roysterer)

Making sure Georgi was settled comfortably with food and water I checked the shows catalogue and located the ring in which Di Brown would be judging her.
I felt excited and honoured to have my first homebred girl having already reached Champion status in the summer being here at the most exciting show of the year and in the Grand class.
I popped back to Georgi’s pen to find a couple of very interested people wanting to know more about her, so I stopped and chatted before returning to the judging rings. I was so proud to watch Di Brown admiring my girl and hearing her say “I like her” even before she was taken from the ring pen by the steward. Georgi was her normal wriggly self and Di tried her best to judge her single handed but did need some assistance from a steward. I felt such pride when Di announced her 1st place with a Grand Challenge Certificate, especially after a short run of her withholding certificates on other entrants.
The Best of Breed award was whittled down to the Imperial Grand Champion girl and my girl, my heart stopped when Di deliberated over the 2 girls, she awarded to the IMP GRCH girl but I was not disappointed my day had been successful enough.
Georgi was then returned to her pen and I took her a soft toy mouse as a gift and I read the judges critique which had been placed on top of her pen (see below) I was very happy with the remarks.
The rest of my day was spent in a slight daze, a little shopping with my friends, and lots of chatting with people coming to admire Georgi.
We arrived home at 7.30pm tired, happy and very very proud. Supreme_Cats_Show_2009_4745_[320x200]

CHAMPION SARAMESE GOODLUCKCHARM
1ST & GRAND CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE

Judges Critique - Judge Mrs D M Brown
Overall Impression - Stylish queen, very good type.
Head (including eyes and ears) - lovely head for style and balance, very good top and large flared ears set to follow. Straight profile and firm chin with level bite. Oriental eyeshape and straight, colour could be deeper but was acceptable. Long weighty and well toned body. Tail almost balances limbs, fine paws neat.
Coat (including colour) - Good points some pinkish tones apparent.
General Remarks (including condition and temperament) - Unshaded coat of medium length and sleek close texture.
Rather wriggly but not unfriendly. Excellent condition

Sonny was also nominated for best in show.

Judge Critique from Grace Denny
A stunning well developed kitten, even wedge-no pinch, large wide at base ears,
breadth between, straight profile, oriental clear blue eyes, chin firm, level bite, good neckline,
mask well defined and points of delicate colouring, certainly 'TRUE LILAC',
body lithe and muscular, coat short and fine un-blemished, magnolia in colour giving lovely contrast,
elegant limbs, tapered tail - a joy to judge.
